Property Development – Nags Head, Castleton

After the passing of my dad, I had a little extra money which was used to purchase a second cottage in Castleton village that we had been negotiating on. It was in terrible condition but I had the vision to transform it and did all the work myself using trades only for things like gas and electric modifications.

We intended to rent this out as a holiday let as well as Cavedale Cottage but ended up selling this cottage. After selling it and considering we made quite a healthy profit we started thinking about selling the holiday cottage (Cavedale Cottage) as well to try and do this kind of thing full-time.
