This was a complete rebuild using modern technologies for Jason from Roots and shoots Manchester. He needed hosting and a faster performing website and I’ve managed to get nearly top performance scores despite having a very image rich website.

This is a personal e-commerce website I’m working on at the moment. It’s still got some work with regards to finalising designs for all the products I intend to sell but it showcases my ability to develop e-commerce sites that work.

Sweeping Hand

Another site that I’ve had the privilege of re-building twice now. The first time was in 2014 and then again in 2020 using a completely different approach to theme and plugin choice which sped it up tremendously.

After closing a successful holiday let property to pursue full-time property development I created this directory listing site which in all honesty hasn’t received much attention over the last few years.

Vintage Watch Fever

This is a website that was built for a watchmaker who wanted to have an online store as well as a tracking/updating system for any watches he was currently working on. I achieved an updating system using custom fields and custom post types that he could update easily.

I’ve been using Johan for my website needs now for the last 5 years. He originally took on a significant project in moving my entire site from an expired WordPress theme to a completely new platform and refreshed layout with new interaction and a simple page build structure. It was no small task but he was very easy to talk to and understood my needs and requirements quickly, implementing them without issue and always able to resolve technical problems and come up with new solutions. Since then he has been responsible for making the site more mobile friendly and improving security. He is always available and reliable and I trust everything he does implicitly and rely on him for ongoing maintenance. I can highly recommend his services to anyone considering and wouldn’t look elsewhere.

For thirty years, I’ve been operating from my main road location and dealing with customers on a one to one basis. Times have changed and modern customers check on line for goods and services. Presenting my services on line was a minefield. There are plenty of web designers but few impressed, many claiming nationally known clients which is a far cry from my small business and probably attracting large fees. Johan stood out because he offered a very personal service. He asked many questions and got to know and understand my business and what I am trying to achieve. The web sites he has built for other local business are impressive and gave me confidence. His recommendations on how I could use social media to promote my business were insightful and useful. He put together a logo which we developed together into a full design. Johan did all the work but I was very much involved in the process. Johan Koke provides a service which is extremely good value for money and which I would highly recommend.

Working with Johan was great. He listened to our objectives for our new website and then came up with some great ideas as to how we could achieve them. He worked collaboratively with us to make sure everything was how it needed to be, whilst also ensuring the site looked fresh and sleek. We are delighted with the end result and would recommend Johan without hesitation.

Johan did an amazing job building my website www.dogwalkermarple.co.uk The knowledge and experience along with the advice Johan offered has been invaluable with getting my business up and running. Johan designed various versions of my logo for the website, t-shirts and vinyl for the van. Whilst building the website we had many conversations about the style, content and layout which has proved pivotal to the success of my business. I’ve had many compliments from clients about the website and have gained a few customers because of the professional design and layout. Johan and I have bounced ideas off of each other and I have to say I’m extremely happy with his professionalism and friendly service. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending Johan and I will certainly be using his services in the future.
